Sukajit Srisukon
Managing Partner and Creative Director
Sukajit had more than 20 years of experience on the creative side of communications - 15 years in advertising and another 4 years in entertainment.
Sukajit is a graduate of the Faculty of Liberal Arts, Thammasat University.
She started her advertising career as Copywriter at Raintree Advertising and won the TACT (Top Advertising Contest of Thailand) Award in 1983. Soon after, she joined Leo Burnett Thailand as Copywriter in January 1985.
During her first 4 years as Copywriter with Leo Burnett, she was credited for producing many award-winning creative works for major clients such as Biersdorf (Nivea skin lotion), Boon Rawd Brewery (Singha Gold Beer), Singer (Thailand) Plc., Warner-Lambert (Hall’s and Chicklets), Nestlé (Bear Brand).
These creative works have been proven to help clients gain and maintain their market share. The Nivea Woman campaign created for Biersdorf helped Nivea become the leading brand within two years of its launch.
She became Creative Director at Leo Burnett in 1993 and was in charge of overall brand strategies, directing the development of creative works for major Leo Burnett Clients such as Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), Petroleum Authority of Thailand (PTT), Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT). She was responsible for directing a combined billing of 700 million Baht per annum for her clients.
Under her direction, The Amazing Thailand campaign for domestic tourism promotion (“เที่ยวเมืองไทย ไม่ไปไม่รู้”) for TAT and Demand Side Management (“ประหยัดไฟเบอร์ 5”) for EGAT successfully brought about changes in social attitude and consumer behavior towards domestic tourism and energy conservation. Corporate advertising for PTT also brought about changes in consumer perception about PTT by providing a compelling reason for every Thai to support the national oil company.
During her tenure at Leo Burnett, her creative works was credited with numerous TACT and BAD (Bangkok Art Directors’ Association) awards, as well as the Best of the Best Asian Advertising Award and 2 Prix Nationale Awards from the Advertising Festival in Cannes.
After 13 years at Leo Burnett, Sukajit joined Spa as Executive Creative Director and later moved into Entertainment as Managing Director of Grammy Communications. During her 4 years at Grammy, she was executive producer of a children’s television program (4-Wonders) and 37 albums of children edutainment products (both CDs and VCDs).
